Luxurious yoga and hikes retreat in Tuscany, 29 April - 5 May 2019

Join me for a Yoga, hikes and sightseeing retreat in the heart of Tuscany!!

The location is an 11th-century Abbey fully refurbished with luxurious standards surrounded by 11 converted farmhouses and outbuildings spread across a 2000-acre estate at the edge of the Val d'Orcia, itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A unique location, with only the fragrances of the earth and silence to keep us company.

Close by we find towns like Siena, Montalcino, Montepulciano, San Giminiano etc.. known for their historical beauties as well as the wineries.

Each bedroom is different, with private bathroom, very spacious and with very high standard.

I'd like to include also at list 3-4 weekly hikes in the property (which is both absolutely huge and beautiful!) to spend some time in nature and together!

The retreat place will offer 3 vegetarian and organic meals a day:
-a rich breakfast
-light lunch: fresh salads, pasta or mix cereals salad, cous cous etc..
-a vegetarian organic dinner
Fruits will always be available for us as a snack!!

In your free time you will be able to relax in the amazing property, enjoy the pool and nature or explore the incredible beauties that Toscany has to offer!!!

The price will be 1000 euros for the all week including everything.

For the transport I suggest direct flight to Rome (Norwegian offers great prices if booked in advanced!), flying to Florence is also an option.
The retreat place can organize a pickup service from the airport or you can rent a car if you know you like to travel around!

Evening Workshop: Developing your inner core – A fun, flow yoga class that focuses on core stability and increasing flexibility throughout our bodies. Core strength will help you align your body, build up protection for your lower back and help you move more efficiently.  This flow is sure to fire up your core from all sides. Working your core from the front body, back body and side body using poses like navasana (boat pose), salabhasana (locust pose) and vasisthasana (side plank). We will also focus on jump back/through, L sit, frog jumps etc..

Evening WS: Love your hips! A full class dedicated on discovering the hip joint and all the muscles around it. We will explore different positions from the more simple sitting crossed legged Padmasana style to the most complexed like leg behind the neck- EkaPadaSirsasana.

Evening WS: Detox flow: A power yoga flow that aims to detoxify the body via twists, hip and low back opening, as well as a decent amount of core work from our hands and backs. Through the use of specifically designed twists and compression poses you will rinse the spine and internal organs, riding them of harmful toxins. The result is a completely refreshed feeling throughout the entire body. 


Morning Led Ashtanga class (1 group) followed by

Asana Fun workshop: a step by step work through exploring more challenging and fun asanas

The afternoon yoga sessions will be concluded with relaxation and meditation.
